WINDSTAR DESIGN GROUP

March 19, 2008 (Tampa, FL.) – Award-winning Windstar Homes of Tampa announces formation of an Interior Design division, which will provide professional interior design services to its clients throughout the Tampa Bay area.

By combining its design and building processes under one roof, Windstar streamlines the home-building process while maintaining strict control of every phase of construction for its custom-home clients, says David Lesser, who with partner Bobby Gross, own Windstar Homes.

Headquartered in Tampa, Windstar has a professional staff of designers to provide interior design and decorating services, including furnishings and window treatments. Windstar’s boutique approach to building high-end custom homes runs the gamut from finding and procuring a homesite, through the design and engineering of the home. Interior Design was the final step in delivering a truly comprehensive home-building experience.

Windstar Homes was founded in 1996. Lesser and Gross, who met as classmates at the University of South Florida, build between six and eight multi-million-dollar residences a year in Florida and the Bahamas. The company has earned six AURORA AWARDS, considered the “Oscar” of the home-building industry, in the past three years. Homes range from 3,500 to more than 20,000 square feet, and each design is unique.

Lesser and Gross are members of the Tampa Bay Builders Association, and the National Association of Home Builders. Gross serves on the Foundation Board at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the firm actively supports several local charities, including Ruth Eckerd Hall, the DeBartolo Foundation, CASA and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, among others.

Windstar Homes’ corporate headquarters is at suite 110, Urban Centre Two, 4890 W. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa.  For further information, contact Windstar Homes at 813-349-2755 or visit www.windstarhomes.com
